Landscape design, restoration and management proposals for the 3ha grounds of a proposed care home. Previously the retirement home of the Rev. W. Wilkes, 1843-1923, secretary of the RHS and originator of the Shirley Poppy, where he created a wild garden still retaining original trees and flora.

THE BELL MAST >
CHATHAM HISTORIC DOCKYARD

Hard and soft landscape and exhibition design for an area of public open space. Included the re-siting of a scheduled ancient monument, the Bell Mast, as the focal point in liaison with English Heritage.
Received ICE South East Merit Award 2002.

Preparation of Historic Landscape Survey and Management Plan and application for funding to the Heritage Lottery Fund Urban Parks Programme.

MARBLE HILL RIVERSIDE IMPROVEMENTS >

Landscape masterplan for the improvement of the historically important Thames Riverside path area between Orleans Gardens, Twickenham and Richmond Bridge. Required detailed public consultation and close liaison with English Heritage and Thames Landscape Strategy.
